confusing

I had a nice night out, but it was going too fast and he was getting too attached..
He was already asking about christmas gifts (a tv?!) and after kissing on his couch he wanted
me to stay the night (no)
The next day I stumbled through a phone call to him to slow down & I'm not ready,etc.
I can't lead him on... He is such a nice guy- but not my type. He's a country boy & I'm, well,
a country girl but not a redneck.
I felt like I was breaking up & we'd only had two dates.

Now, he wants to know what I'm doing for new years. *sigh*

Went to my ex's for christmas to see my stepson...
The ex bought me gifts-nice gifts....
Today, the 26th and I'm feeling a bit blue.
