i have been painting a big banner this week
one hour at a time, for the block party friday.
no pics yet but the theme is dancing in the street.
so i painted a man on one end holding a lamp post
wearing a suit and hat with a cane.
in the middle is a girl in a dress dancing with music
notes about her.
a radio with musical notes around.
On the other end they are dancing together.
across the entire thing are the letters announcing
the block party .
this is the third year i have painted the banner.
it's about ten foot long.
pretty difficult keeping mother entertained while
i paint.
another thing i have found being in the
office here is how hard the personnel work.
it is like they run a nursing home of two thousand
elderly .
