My friend sent me this today.
At first I was alarmed.
But then I thought this might be a great form of protection for our planets here.
No warp drive Zone ;)
Of course all this crap might bash our little Voyager's also :(
Either way it's pretty awesome albeit hypnotizing...

Pretty interesting that in the early stages, discoveries were made in spurts at similar points along earth's orbital path. Did that equate to good atmospheric conditions (i.e. winter)?
Then in the latter stages, as space based observations and automated identification were prevalent, the periodicity went down and rate went up significantly.
